1. Your cleanse sounds like a great plan to boost your immune system. When I eliminated flour & sugar years ago, I actually determined they were the culprit that kept me groggy & icky feeling, so I continue to avoid sugar & white flour for the most part & use other sweeteners & whole grains instead…I consume alcohol in moderation… I actually agree with eliminating/limiting processed foods like you mentioned — but I am also trying to come to terms with not completely stressing the occasional bit of sugar or white flour product. I just feel really awful [physically] after I do. I don’t see much reason for eliminating whole foods unless you have an allergy/intolerance.
    I love the concept of wantpower — I’ll have to try that.
