March is met with a day of celebration and sorrow in my little piece of the world.
In celebration of a new little niece born to my step-sister Sara yesterday.
And in celebration of Tate’s birthday. I am honored and SO grateful to have him in my life.
In sorrow of my nana’s passing early this morning. She expressed many times over the last few weeks that she was ready and I am grateful for having made the trip last month to say good-bye to her.
What’s a girl to do but sweat it out? It’s already been an extreme morning and it’s just getting started.
Sorry to hear about your grandma. Like you said, it was nice that you and some of your family had the chance to visit with her recently. It can make it easier knowing that goodbyes were said and that she said she was ready, but it’s still sad to say farewell.
Congrats on the new addition to the family!
Thanks, it definitely helps when you have time to say good-bye and know that she was ready as possible.
my little celebration
So sorry to hear the sad news, but I’m glad that she was ready to go. I’ll say a little prayer for you this morning.
I appreciate it, thank you.
Sorry to read of your grandmother’s passing. So glad you got to spend some time with her recently. I’ll light a candle in her honor this evening.
Thank you, that’s very sweet.
So sorry to hear about her passing, Faith. I’m happy you were able to see her one last time. I’ll be thinking of you today.
Your family is in my thoughts.
I’m so sorry. Take care of yourself.
Thank you Jackie.
My condolence, Faith. How beautiful she had made her peace & you were able to say your good-byes. You are in my thoughts.
Thanks Allie, I appreciate it.
Love to you, Faith, in your celebrations and your sorrow.
Thanks so much.
I’m so sorry to hear about your nana! I hope the knowledge that she was at peace will help you feel comfort.
And congratulations on the birth of your niece. Life is a beautiful thing at all stages.
Julia, thanks for the comment and I love the idea that “life is a beautiful thing at all stages”, so true. Thank you.
Thinking of you as you remember your Nana, welcome a precious baby, and celebrate your partner. Wishing you peace and joy.
Thanks Kris, those are very thoughtful words.
Terribly sorry about your loss. Losing my Nana and Poppop was incredibly difficult. Sending you positive, healing energy Faith.
Thank you so much.
