Thank you again for all of your thoughtful words and wishes regarding my grandmother’s death, I feel wrapped up in a big cyber hug. 🙂
Yesterday was the funeral service. Â The only redeeming factor of the day was spending the 11 hours in the car with my sisters. Â There was no rest stop yoga but plenty of giggling and a good dose of reminiscing.
I crashed hard last night and woke up ready for a big bowl of carrot cake oats and a workout. Â And with a stiff neck and a headache from all that car time. Â yuck.
Hopefully my mini-triathlon will work magic on my body and my spirit. Â The plan is a 3 mile run, a 25 minute kettlebell workout, and 15 minutes of yoga and meditation to seal the deal.
Then back in the car.
Tate and I are driving over to West Virginia to see family and watch my niece and sister in a dance performance. Â If I am lucky Tate will drive and I can catch up on my magazine reading…
Have a gorgeous and delicious weekend!
So sorry to hear about your grandmother. I recently lost mine as well so I know the pain is deep. Just wanted to send my thoughts your way. I hope your workout helped and you were able to clear your mind!
Thank you. I feel grateful that I’ve rarely had to “deal” with death in my nearly 30 years, you’re so right, the emotions around it run very deep. Sorry to hear about your grandmother as well.
