A good houseguest is…
…someone who takes out my compost.
…someone who has lunch ready for me when you get home from the clinic. And not just any lunch but the exact lunch that I would have made yourself.
…someone who knows not to ask too many questions before I’ve had some coffee.
…someone who gladly accompanies me into the forest in the pouring ran to look for wild berries.
…someone who sweeps the floor at midnight after I decide to throw a “mid-week weekend number one” Wednesday night shindig.
…someone who looks a little bit like me.
♥sisters♥
Lastly, someone to whom I can say “put your shoes on, we’re going to bike 3 miles, run 4 miles, and bike home-let’s go!” and away we go.
Is your sister just visiting… or moving to C’ville?
She sounds like a lovely houseguest. 🙂

Just visiting :(, for now at least. We are definitely trying to play up what an awesome place it is to live. 🙂
Great, Cedar. Just how on earth am I supposed to live up to that standard?
I am also really fond of sweet little 2 year old guest and wine.
Sisters! How sweet. I especially like the picking wild berries part. SO JEALOUS. 😉
Glad to see you’re enjoying spending time with your sister. She sounds like the perfect house guest.
She is.:) This is why Tate and I invited her to live with us for 3 years in Portland and she was the only one who was welcome to stay for 2 months with us in Peru!
How sweet. 🙂 I just moved to California and my twin sister is back in Indiana…tear! I’m trying to get her out here too…
I love this! No one can compare to a sister, that’s for sure.
