Playing Games
I don’t really like to play games.
Not like, “let’s just be straightforward with our emotions-no games” games but like cards. And board-games. And dice games. And video games. And sports games.
I have been known, on occasion, to enjoy a game of Apples to Apples or that one where you mold stuff with clay and draw blind (I kind of kick ass at that one actually). But games just aren’t my thing. Especially video games.
Or so I thought.
Last night I found my game.
Just Dance 3 left me a sweaty, giggling mess with a very tired right shoulder. It’s much more of a dance party than a game but since it keeps score I think it definitely qualifies as a game. Jessica and I danced played our faces off for over an hour. And I plan on making it a regular thing.
If you’ve never seen this game in action, picture karaoke for your body. The avatars dance some sweet choreography to all the top pop songs and you must follow along, limb for limb. Some of the choreography is really decent-and HARD!
Good times.
They need to make this type of game for strength training! Do they have that already? Like a real workout but you get scored to give you incentive to do more and have good form?
Happy weekend!
