A is for age: 3-0 until May 12th
B is for breakfast today: Savory oats and eggs; the champion of breakfasts.
C is for currently craving: Summer foods; berries, fresh-from-the-garden tomatoes, juicy melons.
D is for dinner tonight: Beer…with a side of vegetables. My meals are usually much more well rounded but on Tuesdays I teach until 8pm and tonight I am going directly to the local brewery to meet up with my cousin who’s in town for work.
E is for favorite type of exercise: Running. No, Pilates. No, yoga. No, hiking. No, walking. My favorite exercise is the kind that gets me moving!
F is for an irrational fear: Aging.
G is for gross food: Mayonnaise, don’t know if I’ll ever come to terms with that stuff.
H is for hometown: Sassafras Ridge Farm outside of Hinton, West Virginia.
I is for something important: A positive outlook.
J is for current favorite jam: Does pear butter count? I eat it mixed with oil and vinegar as a salad dressing, so good.
K is for kids: I like kids.
L is for current location: Home…on the couch…in Charlottesville, Virginia.
M is for the most recent way you spent money: Food. 🙂 Onions and apples at Cville Market.
N is for something you need: Need? I got nothing for you…I guess I need to get a good nights sleep.
O is for occupation: Dance teacher, group exercise instructor, personal trainer, front desk executive lady of the office, healthy living blogger.
P is for pet peeve: Litter bugs, especially when their litter ends up in my yard.
Q is for a quote: Can I quote myself? Is that really tacky? I’m going to do it anyway: “if you know what’s good for you-do it”.
R is for random fact about you: I didn’t order my own entree at a restaurant until well into my teens, before that I always shared with one of my sisters. I still prefer to share at restaurants.
S is for favorite healthy snack: Homemade plain yogurt or cheese with an apple.
T is for favorite treat: Berry Bliss Tarts or Almond Delight Chocolates
U is for something that makes you unique: I was the youngest person to have their choreography showcased at the West Virginia Dance Festival (back in 1999!).
V is for favorite vegetable: This is almost harder than naming my favorite exercise! I’m doing least favorite instead. Iceberg lettuce usually disappoints.
W is for today’s workout: Teach Lean Conditioning and Modern Dance and do a little yoga.
X is for X-rays you’ve had: My mouth before getting my wisdom teeth taken out when I was 22. I think I had an x-ray taken of my foot once too, I used to break little bones in them regularly when I was dancing full-time.
Y is for yesterday’s highlight: Yikes! Nothing stands out! It wasn’t a bad day, just very Monday. Eating this lemon muffin was quite enjoyable, as was teaching my dance class at the college and going for a quick evening run.
Z is for your time zone: Eastern Standard

I loved this post! Do you mind if I use it too? Such fun!!!!
Check out Janetha’s blog, she made the template and it’s available on her site, Meals and Moves. It was fun!
Faith, I’ve been a longtime reader of your blog, but not much of a commenter. However, after reading that you grew up outside of Hinton, WV, I’d really like to talk with you. I’m in graduate school and part of my research deals with the Hinton area specifically and Appalachian landscapes more broadly. I can’t find your email on the site, but perhaps you could email me or give me your email address? Have a great day!
Random letters, here we go……
