My thighs and my eyes
My heart, head, limbs, lungs, and skin
The body alive
Turnip the beet loud
Squash fear and inhibition
Lettuce us dance as one
Breath by breath by breath
Arms pump, feet hitting softly
Running for my life
Happy Friday! Please feel free to share your own health-related haiku in the comments!
*This post is part of WEGO‘s Health Activist Writer’s Month Challenge. During the month of April I am taking on the challenge of writing 30 posts over 30 days on topics related to health. WEGO provided participants with optional topics for each day of the month, and you guessed it, today is health haiku’s!
A pack, a tribe, a knot
By grace, our lives collide and lift
Women running
Beautiful! Thanks for sharing!
Cute – I like it!
I love all your movement pictures – very inspiring!
Step after step
I climb
To the smooth blue sky
breath in strength and peace
exhaling fear and weakness
embracing my life
-love your second one! here is my own attempt. thanks for all the inspiration!
