Happy Birthday dear fellow Taurians!
May is a busy birth month! My day is the 12th and I know dozens of others coming up in the next several weeks. Yay for Spring birthdays!
May is a busy month in general.
This weekend I am teaching a yoga class at our local Lululemon showroom. The class is an all-levels Vinyasa and it’s FREE to attend! If your in the area and want to get down with the chataranga I’ll see you at 10am this Saturday! Did you know that Lululemon stores have free classes? I used to take advantage of this regularly when I lived in Portland and even got to teach once or twice. It’s a really fun community service!
The following Saturday, the 12th (does that day sound familiar? 🙂 ), I am performing! This is a very neat project; I am performing at South Street Brewery as part of the Tom Tom Founders Festival Locavore Expo. Not only will I be dancing in the dining room but I will perform between chef demos! I love taking dance out of the theater! Why dance as part of an expo celebrating local food? I’m dancing about vegetables!
What are you looking forward to this month?
I didn’t know C’ville had a lululemon! It must be new(ish)?
Well, I am actually looking forward to coming up there the weekend of the 12th… though too bad we have a wedding to go to on the 12th, otherwise it would be cool to see you perform and meet 🙂
It is new, it’s actually technically a ‘showroom’, which is what they open when they are checking out a new market.
I’m sure you’re super busy but it would be fun to get together!
Lululemon has great stuff and a friend of mine is an ambassador for them in Aus!
Happy Bday fellow Taurean!!
That’s right! We’ll celebrate both of our days. When you are here!
Happppy Birthday Month!!!!!
I am mad I have to miss the yoga – I have to slice bread at Montalto!
I am certainly with you on Taurean birthdays, dear daughter. When I get some lemongrass I will make that tea. We had three homemade desserts at the May 2 birthday party: blueberry cornmeal layer cake, carrot cake (iced) and peanut butter cupcakes with chocolate frosting. Oh yeah, a great homegrown dinner also. Good to hear that you are getting to perform Lettuce Turnip and Dance again. With or without video this time? Merde!
I will be there!! I’ve been following your blog for a while now, and I even spotted you around Cville a couple of times, but I was always too shy to say hi. Can’t wait for yoga tomorrow!
Cool! Glad to have you join tomorrow!
I always think I don’t have any local readers because only once has someone introduced themselves to me! (Note to self:I should probably clean myself up a little better before leaving the house! Yikes! 🙂 ).
See you tomorrow!
