Staycation
I have a few additions to my summer list.
This is the summer I will play hookie from real life when foreign friends blow into town.
This is the summer I will hear the stories of backpackers who have been ‘hiking the green tunnel’ for months, subsisting on cookies and sausage.
This is the summer I will pick berries until twilight, that magic hour when the fire flies almost make up for the mosquitoes.
This is the summer my garden will flourish.
In honor of the blog birthday yesterday, I’ve started a new page; I Grow. This page is a place for me compile my posts on planting, growing, harvesting, and savoring the garden. It’s a work-in-progress, but hey, so am I. 😉
