Last weekend Charlottesville swelled with photographers for the annual LOOK3 Festival of the Photograph. I love this time of year, there are exhibits all over town and the abundance of camera-yielding pedestrians makes me inspired to shot and a little braver at grabbing candids.
Friday night, as I was dancing on my bike thru downtown, I found myself being photographed by two lovely women in town for the festival. They asked to set up a dance shoot for Saturday afternoon and I was thrilled to oblige.
We went to a park outside of town and I improvised in the grass and they clicked away. I thought I’d share a few of my favorites with you.

Aww, thanks Lauren. I loved the perspective she shot from!
