Over the weekend I attended my first blog conference. The timing felt slightly ironic; a fitness bloggers event when I’ve been super slacking on both my exercise and writing lately. On the other hand, I think it was the kick in the ass I needed to rejuvenate me on both fronts.
- I drank a lot of coffee
- Fell for twitter (I still suck at tweeting but I’m starting to learn the language)
- And Hank Hanna (dudes got a hell of a sense of humor)
- Became the proud owner of my first item of pink…in my life! (thanks Reebok!)
- Got my liquid awesome on (thanks PuraVit, love this blue!)
- Was reminded, once again, that I’m kinda shy
- Got excited for Foodbuzz in San Francisco next month!!
- Was reminded, once again, that I need a tag line for gracefulfitness. Help! I would love your help coming up with a succinct description of what this blog is. If you are a regular reader than you are as qualified to do this as I am, maybe more! You will be rewarded for your efforts. Not only will I love you forever and profess this publicly but I will send you presents. Really.
tagline idea:
— ‘finding grace in movement, grace in life’
Love it, thanks!
that’s really a lovely way to put it!
I think Gracefulfitness blog is a perfect dance of food and fitness.
Thanks Barbara!
Here’s a simple idea, based on your pages at the top (“I am,” “I cook,” “I eat,” etc.): “Gracefulfitness: I love.”
Thanks Alicia!
Gracefulfitness: A lifetime of Food + Fitness blended with grace
One woman’s dance through healthy living
Faith, I love your blog! Here’s my suggestion.
Graceful Fitness: Dancing my way through a healthy life
Thanks Bernie, I like it!
I love the reflective quality of your posts–which is enhanced by the design and color scheme of your blog. So maybe something with the word “reflecting/reflections”…. And laughter and love. Your posts are such a reflection of your passion for life!
Thanks Lindsey, I love that it comes across to you!
Faith,
What a pleasure it was to meet you this weekend. Thank you for mentioning me in your post, that’s so sweet of you. You captured the weekend well, the energy was warm and welcoming.
I’ll keep thinking about a tagline…
Graceful Fitness: A do it yourself guide to a beautifully fit life.
I don’t know….but one of my favorite things about your blog is how inspired I get to get my hands dirty and make my own–from kombucha, to a garden, to a new way of moving, to a new recipe.
Nice Keri! LOVE that I inspire you to get your hands dirty!
I met Lynda at the Healthy Living Summit in Boston! She is the best, right?!
Looks like this was amazing…I wish I could afford to go to all of them. =)
I know, I chose FitBloggin over HLS because I could drive and spend less on transportation. Yep, Lynda’s great!
