Hitched
Love was in the (cold) air yesterday.
In a most perfect ceremony and celebration my dear friends Thad and Frances got married.
After a gorgeous Saturday Charlottesville woke up to a cold drizzle on Sunday morning, perfectly cozy weather for a small, fall wedding. 😉
Upon arrival at the incredible Belle Haven we were greeted with hot tea and small bites.
I left my camera at home and left most of the snapping up to the very talented Sarah Cramer but I did manage a few random phone pictures.
The Belle Haven house is from the 1880’s! Amazing details…
And Frances did amazing with the wedding details as well, check out the table assignments! She scoured antique shops to find a skeleton key for each guest.
We’ll miss these two when they move to Colorado at the end of the month!
Tate and I were honored to be included on the short guest list (less than 40). I loved the intimacy of the ceremony and celebration! I heard every word of the vows! It was so intimate in fact, that Thad stood up at lunch and said a quick, off the cuff, passage about every single person in attendance, it was a sweet and personal touch.
